MY APPROACH

I work with a people-centred, research-driven and responsibility-focused approach. For me, responsible storytelling means not simplifying a story – but giving it depth.

My work combines journalistic investigation, documentary sensitivity and strategic thinking. I collaborate internationally with filmmakers, NGOs and media organisations, with a strong emphasis on language, power dynamics and the integrity of the perspectives represented.

MY CAREER PATH

I began my career in local journalism at Ruhr Nachrichten. I then worked for several TV newsrooms and media outlets, including RTL2 News, RTL Exklusiv and VOX’s Goodbye Deutschland. Later, I took on editorial leadership roles, developed new formats and managed the editorial workflow of larger teams.

At ZDFinfo, I worked for several years as a senior editorial lead (Chefin vom Dienst) — responsible for format development and the strategic growth of the TikTok channel. Parallel to this, I developed reportage formats, supervised shoots and managed editorial planning and quality control.

Today, I work independently on documentary film projects and a podcast series, develop storytelling strategies for organisations, and write articles and reports on political and social issues.
